Cardz for Kidz
I oversee the Careworks’ Cardz for Kidz program, develop workflows, select materials for the card making kits, and ship the kits out.
When we heard about the Cardz for Kidz organization, we were eager to form a partnership. We recognized the potential to overcome many barriers we face in finding suitable light-duty assignments like language barriers, transportation issues, lack of computer skills or the need for sedentary work. Cardz for Kidz distributes cards worldwide, so cards can be created in any language as well.

We offer opportunities that allow injured employees to take responsibility for their healing journey, giving them the ability to significantly impact their well-being and growth.
Cardz for Kidz provides a light duty work option for those employees that cannot be accommodated otherwise. It gives them the chance to earn their full pay while giving them the opportunity to heal from their injury. The children are happy to receive the cards and see what part of the world they were sent from.
