Memorable Experience
One of my most memorable experiences at Careworks was playing a key role in the successful onboarding of a new client and ensuring our teams were equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to manage a complex program. I took initiative by developing clear resources, leading multiple training sessions, and creating practical solutions that improved efficiency and understanding across the division.
I especially enjoyed meeting and coaching field nurses across the country during a challenging transition. Throughout this process, I expanded my skills in Excel, videography, and PowerPoint to effectively train staff, streamline workflows, and track progress — all with a strong commitment to problem‑solving and operational excellence.
Being at Careworks
I began my career in case management with a regional company, initially joining as an office administrator before being promoted to office manager. During this time, leadership encouraged me to pursue a nursing degree so I could transition into a field case manager role. I worked full time while attending college, later shifting to part‑time as I completed my clinical rotations. After graduation, I worked full time at a local hospital while continuing part‑time case management until I ultimately transitioned into full‑time case management practice.
When our regional company was acquired by Sedgwick/Careworks, I continued to advance my expertise, earning promotions to Team Lead and eventually to Clinical Manager. In every role, I have been driven by a commitment to service, growth, and meaningful outcomes.
I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of injured workers — helping them navigate treatment, recover, and return to meaningful activities — and equally grateful to support and develop the talented professionals within our division. Empowering others, improving processes, and fostering collaborative problem‑solving have become the most rewarding parts of my work.
Power of Choice
What motivates me most is knowing that every day, I have the choice to make a meaningful impact — whether by helping injured employees return to their lives and careers or by guiding clinical teams through professional development.
I am passionate about leadership, clinical excellence, and the idea that our choices shape not only our careers, but also the lives of the people we serve.
True progress comes from individuals choosing to work together, support each other, and contribute in ways that elevate the group. I am so blessed to work with a team‑minded group who join their strengths to meet challenges head‑on and lift each other up.
