Colleague Spotlight: Lauren DeHart, Clinical Manager

Memorable Experience

One of my most meaningful experiences was participating in the STAR Leadership Program last year. Through STAR, I had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the country, build relationships across multiple divisions, and learn from an exceptional leadership team. Traveling to Ohio to connect in person was the icing on the cake. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that genuinely values growth, development, and opportunity. The talent, dedication, and advocacy here are unmatched, and they’re why I show up every day.

The Power of Choice

For me, the power of choice means making the decision to be purposeful – even when the changes feel small. I ask myself: how did I move the needle forward today? Did I do something that mattered—to the injured employees we serve, our clients, colleagues, and the organization as a whole? Knowing the answer to that question is “yes” inspires me to keep choosing growth with intention and keeps me focused on the meaningful impact of my work.

Being at Careworks

I knew Careworks was right for me from my very first conversation with the recruiter. I still remember exactly what I was doing at that moment and having the sense that I was about to be part of something special. I was right – and I haven’t looked back since. Joining Careworks felt like discovering a missing piece of the puzzle I didn’t even realize was missing. Every role at Careworks is rooted in a shared purpose: advocating for injured employees and driving outcomes that make a difference.
